Jennifer B. embarked on the Ms. Race at the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club with her friends, and Argo was there to help them navigate every step of the way.

The Ms. Race is an annual all-women sailboat race outside of New York City for charity that has been taking place for 20 years. The race supports a local non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence, a noble cause. Jennifer and her friends set sail during the race and Argo and Captain Jeff were able to help them navigate the race course safely, dropping pins at race markers to help them maneuver to the finish line.
We recently caught up with Jennifer to tell us her story of the race.
Argo: What race did you participate in and what is the name of your boat?
Jennifer B: We entered the Ms. Race that takes place in the Lower Bay off the New Jersey coast near Manhattan. For the race, we sailed on my friend’s Sabre sailboat called “At Last.” I have a sailboat named MINXSEA!
A: Tell us your favorite story of using Argo.
JB: I had Navionics years ago and did not find it to be user-friendly. For the particular race, my job was navigation, so when I researched Argo and heard some great things about it, I decided to download the app. I immediately loved the fact that it was user-friendly and quite clear to read. The Garmin handheld screens are impossible to read!

JB: It all started in my teenage years with a Sunfish!
A: How has Argo enhanced your boating experience?
JB: I love the simplicity, the icons which are easy to read and it takes the worry out of navigating the waters.
A: What is your favorite Argo feature and how have you used it?
JB: The Captain’s Log because I can preplan trips!
A: Would you recommend Argo to a friend?
JB: I have already recommended Argo to many people. We had friends sail up to Atlantic Highlands recently as they purchased a sailboat in Annapolis and stayed in our mooring field for the week.
