Get Your New Year Underway by Using Argo to Plan 2024 Boat Trips
It’s a new year, and now is the perfect time to start planning boat trips for your 2024 boating season!
Whether your boat is on the hard for the winter, or the colder months just slow you down a bit, planning ahead for next season now is a great way to beat those winter blues.
Here are some ways you can use Argo to plan your 2024 season boat trips!
2024 Boat Season Planning
Use Argo to explore the map in your area and discover new places to visit (see our Map Legend for help on icons). Both free & Premium users can use Argo’s new Web App version to explore the map on a big computer screen like your desktop. 👀
Add a pin to places that you may want to visit – you can create a route, add it to favorites, or bookmark it in your Captains Log.
Many places include reviews from fellow boaters. Read reviews on marinas or restaurants to see if you want to visit them next year. This is also a great time to ADD your own reviews for places you visited last year!
Create and save routes to your Captain‘s Log so you are ready to go next season! This is also really helpful for planning multi-leg trips so you know how long it will take to cruise to and from various locations (and fuel estimates!)
Many marinas are already accepting slip reservations for the 2024 boating season – and busy weekends fill up fast! When reviewing marina descriptions, look for an orange BOOK NOW button to link directly from the Argo app to Snag-A-Slip to book a transient slip.
Organize Captain‘s Log
Take this time to get your Captain‘s Log in ship shape! Organize last year’s trips you saved (trip names, descriptions, photos) and save routes for your 2024 boat trip plans!
