On a manual route, tap and hold any point to move it.
On an autoroute, tap the + button next to your destination at the top and choose an interim point. Add as many as you need, and adjust them until the route looks right.
Interim points are how you shape a route around what’s actually in your way, like a shallow stretch you want to avoid or a fuel stop you want to work in.
